You may access the Alberta Construction Safety Association's new Learning Management Platform by clicking on the link below or by entering www.acsa-safety.org in your browser's address bar. In the upper right corner of the ACSA Learning Management Platform page you will see a Login link. Clicking on this link will take you to the Student Services Portal. If you have already created an account, enter your e-mail address and password to login. If you have not already created an account, you need to do so now. On the left hand side of the page, under the word Welcome, you will see the menu item Create an Account. Click on this to start creating your account.
You will need an e-mail address in order to create an account. If you do not have an e-mail address you can create one at www.hotmail.com or www.gmail.com or you can use a valid address of a family member or friend. Once you have entered the e-mail address you must enter a password to access your account. The combination of e-mail address and password will allow you to login to your account.
The next three fields, First Name, Last Name, and Birthdate are required and are what ACSA uses to track you in their database. Your course history is recorded using these three fields.
Once you have entered the required information, ACSA searches their database to determine if you have a record on their system. If you do then the company information affiliated with your record, eg. Plumbers and Pipefitters NL will be displayed. If the information is correct, click on the Create button to create your account. Make sure you remember the e-mail address and password you used to create your account. You will need it to login to the site in the future.
Once you click the Create button you will be taken to the ACSA Student Services Portal.
The portal is a new and improved way to serve our members. Among many other benefits, it allows existing and new students access to their personal record on the ACSA secured database.
Students are now able to maintain their ACSA profile which includes contact and mailing information, view their upcoming and completed courses, print a student transcript or re-print any completed course certification.
Students are also able to register and pay for ACSA e-Learning courses and review their purchase history. More online purchases will be available in the future.
Using the portal, individuals registering for e-Learning courses will now have instant access to the programs they purchase. After successfully completing the course, they will receive an email confirmation along with their applicable certificate, which can be printed by the student - any time of day, with virtually no waiting.
On the left hand side of the page you will see a number of Menu items with sub-menu items for each. If you are doing the CSTS 09 Upgrade or the full CSTS course, you need to click on the e-learning registration sub-menu item under Course Registration. If you have previously completed the CSTS V3.2 course and the information you entered when creating your account matches your previous information, you will see a message stating "Our records indicate you qualify for the CSTS-09 Upgrade Course, which is offered free of charge."" You may begin or continue your CSTS 09 Upgrade by clicking on the link provided.
If you have not previously completed the CSTS V3.2 course, you will need an enrolment key to enter the new CSTS 09 course. You may obtain an enrolment key by contacting the UA Training Centre at (709) 747-5947 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
