Expanded Safety Protocol For 740 Staff

Mar 27, 2020 | General, Union Office COVID-19

To further expand on the safety protocol for 740 staff, starting on March 24, 2020, 740 staff will be working remotely from home until further notice. If you need to contact someone for any reason, we ask that you to do so by email. At this time, phone calls will go to voicemail so you must leave a message in order for someone to call you back. We will be checking our messages regularly and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Going forward, we ask that you self-serve as much as you can through electronic or online methods. If you currently use mail for making payments or sending correspondence, we ask that you consider switching to electronic or online methods. This will minimize the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus and ensure we can still assist you in the event the post office closes due to the pandemic. We’re working on guides and resources for those who need more information on how to self-serve. We’ll add information to our website as quickly as we can.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact someone in the appropriate department and your inquiry will be answered as soon as possible. Once again, we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Please visit the NL Government’s website for updates and recommendations regarding COVID-19.

Stay safe.
